37th Annual School Student Show

Artwork from 10 area schools is on display today at Art Downtown for the 37^th Annual School Student Show. Each school displays approximately 20 pieces of its best work — paintings, drawings and 3-D sculpture. Sixth-graders to high school seniors are involved in the show, a favorite of members of the Hanover Area Arts Guild, which sponsors the event. The exhibit can be seen during regular gallery hours — 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is always free. A reception is planned for students, families and the community 1-3 p.m. Sunday, March 11, to celebrate the show.
