Swing into Literacy

An exciting collaboration between the York County Literacy Council and York Symphony Orchestra Association continues, as preparations are underway for our annual Swing into Literacy Gala. We are very pleased to be able to bring our community this award-winning event, now in its 8th year.

We hope you will join us for a fun-filled evening at the exclusive Country Club of York as we honor Dr. Robert Hart Baker for his outstanding support of our organizations.

The evening will feature:

• Live performance by Jim Scofield and swing music performed by the York Symphony Orchestra Swing Band.
• Passed hors d’ oeuvres and a sumptuous served dinner.
• Our popular wine raffle.

The evening will also feature an extensive silent auction and a LIVE auction for platinum packages. All funds raised by the Gala will benefit both the York County Literacy Council and the York Symphony Orchestra Association.
