Hanover, Pa. – The Borough of Hanover Department of Water Resources will perform required semi-annual hydrant flushing the week of April 13 - 16, 2026, beginning at 8:00 AM and concluding around 4:00 PM daily. Public hydrants and dead-end lines located west of Baltimore and Carlisle Streets including McSherrystown Borough and Conewago Township will be flushed on Monday and Tuesday, April 13 & 14. Hanover, PA — Along with several surrounding counties, York County is currently assessed at “Drought Watch” level according to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP), while Adams County is assessed at “Drought Warning” level.
