Barley Snyder Adds Employee Benefits Attorney Nikolajs Gaikis to Lancaster Office

Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Nikolajs V. Gaikis has joined the firm as a member of its Employee Benefits Practice. He will be based in the firm’s Lancaster office.

 

Gaikis concentrates his practice on all aspects of employee benefits, executive compensation, and employment and payroll taxes. His work includes advising clients on 401(k) and profit-sharing plans, welfare benefit plans, pension plans, and other fringe benefits. A substantial part of his practice is devoted to correcting non-compliant plans with the IRS’s and Department of Labor’s correction programs.

Gaikis earned his Juris Doctor degree from Penn State Dickinson Law, where he graduated Cum Laude, in addition to receiving a Tax Certificate. Prior to joining Barley Snyder, Gaikis served as an Honors Program Attorney with the IRS, Office of Chief Counsel in its Litigation & Advisory division where he litigated and advised on cases across a wide range of issues in the U.S. Tax Court.
